Day 1 – Arrive in Washington, DC: Your tour begins with an included transfer from Washington Reagan National Airport and a welcome dinner at 6:00 p.m. hosted by your Tour Manager. Meal:  D

Day 2 – Washington, DC National Mall Touring and Museum of the Bible: Today a local guide conducts a narrated tour of our Nation’s Capital. While touring through the National Mall area see the many monuments and memorials dedicated to past presidents and the nation’s wars including the National World War II Memorial. At the new Museum of the Bible, discover the Bible’s history, from hand-written scrolls to mobile devices through rare artifacts spanning 3,500 years of history. Walk through the stories of the Hebrew Bible, immerse yourself in first-century Nazareth and listen to the story of how followers of Jesus grew into a thriving community. After dinner, an Illumination tour of Washington, DC includes views of the memorials and monuments bathed in light. Meals: B, D

Day 3 – Arlington National Cemetery, Washington National Cathedral and Law Enforcement Museum: Start today at Arlington National Cemetery to see the gravesites of John and Robert Kennedy as well as the eternal flame that burns in dedication to the memory of JFK. Appreciate the military precision of the Changing of the Guard Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns. At the Washington National Cathedral, a “Spiritual Home for the Nation,” see the beautiful architecture and grounds. Next, tour the new National Law Enforcement Museum. Hear, experience and feel what it’s like to walk in the shoes of law enforcement officials in this newly-opened museum. Meal: B

Day 4 – Cambridge’s “Hopalong Cassidy”: In the Ohio town of Cambridge, the six-foot bronze statue of William Boyd, better known as “Hopalong Cassidy” greets you. See the exhibits dedicated to this beloved cowboy hero. Meals: B, D

Day 5 – The Creation Museum: Continue to the Cincinnati area for a visit to the Creation Museum. Here, the history of the Bible vividly comes to life at this state-of- the-art museum. You’ll walk through biblical history, see the Garden of Eden and experience Noah’s flood through exciting exhibits which bring the pages of the Bible to life through the retelling of its stories. Meal: B

Day 6 –  Noah’s Ark Encounter: Today is spent at the impressive Ark Encounter. This massive, full-size, all wood replica of Noah’s Ark presents a number of historic events centered on this one-of-a-kind historically themed attraction. Spanning 510 feet long, 85 feet wide and 51 feet high, it is designed to be family oriented, historically authentic and is the largest timber frame structure in the country. Tonight, dinner is at the first authentic Hofbrauhaus in America. Modeled after its 400 year-old cousin in Munich it featured traditionally decorated rooms and excellent German fare. It’s Wunderbar! Day 7 –  Travel Home: Your journey ends with a group transfer to the Cincinnati Airport for flights out after 11:00 a.m. Meal: B

Includes round trip airfare from DFW to Washington, D.C. and from Cincinnati, OH. Round trip transfers to/from the airport from Sulphur Springs are also included.

Air itineraries may not be available until documents are received. Air seats are assigned by the airline for the entire group. Seat changes can only be attempted upon receipt of tickets and documents at which time availability may be limited. If specific seat assignments are vital to your reservation, we recommend individual air reservations rather than booking air with the group.

Travelers Protection Plan (TPP) – $200 per person (optional)
This nonrefundable fee waives all cancellation fees when we are notified of cancellation one day before the tour departs. If you must leave the tour early due to personal illness, illness or death of a member of your immediate family, TPP guarantees full refund for any unused services after the departure of the tour. Other benefits include medical expenses for illness and injury, emergency transportation, 24 hour hot line, and lost or stolen baggage assistance. Return air transportation is included ONLY if your air tickets were provided by Mayflower Cruises & Tours. If you purchase the optional Travelers Protection Plan (TPP), you will be refunded all payments, including deposit amount, less the TPP premium amount.

• 30 – 15 days – 30% of the tour cost
• 14 – 1 day prior – 40% of the tour cost
• Day of departure or early departure from tour – 100% of the tour cost
No refund on unused portion

Exclusions: Mayflower Cruises & Tours reserves the right to alter its refund and cancellation policy when a substantial amount of cancellation or postponement of travel is attributable to: conditions resulting from an act of God, natural or man-made disaster, fire, government action, civil disorder, war, hostilities between nations, or unavailability of transportation through no fault of Mayflower Cruises & Tours.
