 Itinerary
Day 1  Depart for Ohio
Depart today and enjoy a welcome dinner and overnight in Youngstown, Ohio. (Dinner)
Day 2  Arrive in Penn Dutch Country
Traveling across Pennsylvania’s rich farmland come to the heart of Penn Dutch Country. After checking in to your hotel, your reserved tables await at the Bube’s Brewery for a fun and exciting Murder Mystery Dinner. Perhaps you will be the suspect! (Breakfast and dinner)
Day 3  Amish Country Touring and Shopping
Today a local guide joins you for a guided tour though beautiful Penn Dutch country. Experience the pure country spirit of the Amish by visiting a replica of an “Old Order” Amish homestead – a working farm complete with crops and live animals. Lunch today is at Plain and Fancy Restaurant, for a hearty meal served family style. A visit to Bird-in-Hand allows you a shopping opportunity like no other. Small town gift shops, the farmers market and the Old Village Store will take you back 100 years. (Breakfast and lunch)
Day 4  New York’s Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty
Make your way to New York City today, one of America’s most exciting and vibrant cities. You’ll spend the next three nights just moments away from glittering New York, “the city that never sleeps.” Feel the pulse of this magnificent city. Sail across New York Harbor to visit Ellis Island and see the Statue of Liberty. This precious American monument symbolizes the ideals established by the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Ellis Island, once a major entry point for millions during the 19th and 20th centuries, now houses a museum honoring the ethnic diversity of our immigrant forefathers. Fascinating exhibits, including the Registry Room, and Through America’s Gate, all illustrate the path followed by more than 16 million immigrants. (Breakfast)
Day 5  September 11 Memorial and Museum and Broadway Show
Today we pay a stirring visit to the National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center. Here, tribute is paid to those who lost their lives and to those whose heroics brought the nation together. Today, we have reserved seats to a top Broadway show. For dinner, we head to Rockefeller Center. Meals: B, D
Day 6  New York City Tour and “Top of the Rock”
Today a local guide joins you to see New York City landmarks including Times Square, Chinatown and Rockefeller Center. Enjoy a fabulous included lunch today before being whisked away to the observation deck of the Rockefeller Center. This breathtaking, panoramic view of the city from the “Top of The Rock” was John D. Rockefeller’s gift to Manhattan where you can now marvel at the city that he loved. (Breakfast and lunch)
Day 7  Travel to Ohio
Depart today and arrive in Ohio where a farewell dinner and overnight stay in Youngstown await. (Breakfast and dinner)
Day 8  Arrive Home
Arrive home today with memories of your New York and Penn Dutch adventure. (Breakfast)
