Dubai loves food. From fine dining dinner dates to catching a fast burger or sundae, there is always time to eat, especially when you're in the mall.

With hundreds of eateries from cute cafés to elaborate Italian restaurants, through some internationally popular fast food chains, the Downtown shopping center has heaps to satisfy any taste.

The Local Favorites



Little burger joint on Jumeirah Road, Nomad, brings big ideas and flavors to the dining table. The restaurant offers mac n cheese, loaded fries, and deep-fried fritters, along with its extensive burger menu. The creations are colorful and oh-so-instagrammable.

Boston Lane

This gorgeous Australian cafe needs no introduction for a few but stays a tucked-away treasure to those yet to detect it. Located in the equally exquisite Courtyard of Al Quoz, Boston Lane serves as a delightful menu of breakfast, cat bowls, toasties and whistles.

The Grove, Park Hyatt, Dubai Creek

It's hard to believe that this gorgeous place is in Dubai. A 100-metre infinity pool overlooks the Dubai Creek, while palm trees line the outskirts of Park Hyatt's pristine artificial beach. It's a haven of private to spend the afternoon soaking up sunlight.

This small fish restaurant, situated in Jumeirah's fishing harbour, ticks so many boxes. Primarily the view is magnificent; make certain to make it to get sunset to watch the sun descend behind the adorable fishing boats. The food can also be a winner, with (likely ) the freshest seafood in Dubai and an extensive menu of fishy delights. Additionally, it is wallet-friendly, choosing to not increase up its costs to Dubai criteria but instead offering healthful, home-cooked, cheap meals.

Sticky Rice

This homegrown family-run restaurant has witnessed great interest since opening late last season, due to the authentic Thai cuisine and personable approach to hospitality. The brainchild of'Mama' Amena who's lifelong enthusiasm of cooking to others is the beating heart of this restaurant. The venue itself is casual and fun, all themed around a yellow snowball termed'Kew'. Everybody in the kitchen is from Thailand, led by Mama and her wealth of knowledge of cooking bona fide Thai food.

Maisan 15

Formerly 'Cabin', Maisan 15 is a cafe, restaurant, gallery, library and backyard all rolled into one. It is an artistic area where Dubai's creatives can come to go over ideas over food. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests can expect to find lamb chops, crispy salmon tacos, beetroot eggs benedict along with risotto as well as some very enticing desserts.

Secret Garden

Not only are the insides of Secret Garden reason for a visit , the desserts are equally as beautiful. Pop for a coffee and a cake, get a picture for the'g and observe the'likes' roster in. There is also some magnificent mocktails worth a try also...

The Farm

Who says you can't locate greenery in Dubai? The Farm is an oasis of tranquillity, surrounded by a botanical background of Al Barari. Guests are treated to lunch, breakfast and dinner with tastes from around the globe. Pick a quiet table overlooking the water for an actual sense of escapism in the hustle and bustle of the city.

Meat Me There

Meat Me There has a reputation for serving the best burgers in the emirate. While the menu is not vast, the three burgers that they do function, they do very well thanks to their secret recipe particular sauce. There is also three options for chips, which offer an imaginative spin on everybody's favorite side dish.

This one is for the severe caffeine fanatics. In Nightjar instead of pulling pints of beer, it's java. What started out as a bean supplier for a number of Dubai's best loved coffee shops, proceeded to start up their own hangout. You are able to perch at the bar, sit in a communal table, or make yourself comfortable on a cacamel-skinug, which can be draped along the long booth.


Located in the Sheraton, but with access from Mall of the Emirates (only beside Common Grounds) is part sports bar, part brasserie, Brunswick. Akiba Dobi

Akiba Dobi is epitome of Downtown Tokyo located in Dubai Design District. Serving up authentic Japanese road pizza and food, because why not? The neon interiors transport its visitors to Japan along with the real food and cool audience.

Cheesecake Factory

Boasting over 250 menu items and 50 signature cheesecakes and desserts made from scratch daily, the menu also offers starters and entrees like chicken, pasta and burgers.

P.F. Chang's

From boneless buffalo wings and spicy shrimp tacos to classic nachos, bacon hamburgers and molten chocolate cake, this Tex-Mex inspired American star ticks all the boxes.

Founded in Arizona in 1993, P.F. Chang's serves a combination of American and Chinese cuisine. Believe California rolls, dynamite shrimp, crab bites, dim sum and salt and pepper calamari. Ensure that you leave room for dessert and candy treats including banana spring rolls and New York cheesecake.

Five Men

This hot American family-run burger grill combined has enlarged to just under 1,400 locations worldwide thanks to its hand-formed, juicy burgers, freshly baked buns and fresh-cut fries. Hot dogs are another popular choice, and for good reason.

Quick and affordable spicy dishes are the order of drama at Jollibee including pancakes, spaghetti, chicken tenders, pasta, hot dogs, hamburgers and chips all washed dodownith refreshing iced tea.

A New York City cult favourite since 2004, Shake Shack is a modern 'roadside' hamburger stand serving made-to-order quality burgers, flat-top hot dogs, frozen custard, shakes and much more.

The menu at the world's biggest fast food chain isn't a surprise and provides value for money with its hamburgers, sandwiches, fries, salads and combo meals.

 Walnut Grove

This elaborate fresh place in The Dubai Restaurant contains tons of cakes, superb breakfasts, and best of all, excellent views of the Burj Khalifa.

Red Lobster

Live Maine lobster. Shrimp linguini alfredo. Snow crab legs. Tuna poke tasting dish. The sailor's platter... Red Lobster is renowned for a deliciously fresh fish. What's better than digging into fresh seafood with water opinions? This may not be the seaside, however, the perspective from Red Lobster's dining area of The Dubai Fountain is just as delightful.

Whether you're after super-tasty beef patties or deliciously gooey grilled cheese sandwiches, there are tons of fast food options in this US chain. But the special thing about The Dubai Mall branch? Additionally, it boasts views of this Dubai Fountain, for a side of dancing jets along with your deep-fried stack.

The menu at this Victorian era-themed restaurant is as diverse as the décor, featuring all-day breakfasts, lunches and dinners in addition to a vast range of cakes, sweets and chocolates.


Desire to try some modern Emirati cuisine, then Logma needs to be on your to-do list. Notably this branch, as the views from the third floor are particularly wow-worthy.Logma (Arabic for mouthful) offers modern Khaleeji food using traditional Emirati ingredients in a metropolitan setting, featuring khameer sandwiches and tasty parathas

This restaurant was put up in 2009 and serves a range of flavours from throughout the world. Set in the popular department store, there is plenty to refuel you through a shopping spree. Dishes include curries, noodles, dim sum, more.
