For the past forty years John and Mary Stachnik, along with the wonderful team here at Mayflower have grown this business into a leading tour operator within the US and around the world. Our dedication to the travelers, the tours and travel styles that we have cultivated over the years made Mayflower a perfect fit for Scenic.
You may be asking what does that mean for Mayflower Tours and me?
Mayflower will continue to run as a separate entity called Mayflower Cruises & Tours with the same people, same executive team and same focus – offering Life Enriching Experiences that are always aimed at exceeding your expectations. We will continue to offer guided holidays in North America, as well as our World, River Cruise and Small Ship Adventures, throughout the world.
One exciting opportunity that the purchase will offer Mayflower is greater access to river and ocean itineraries on both Scenic and their sister brand, Emerald Waterways, while Scenic and Emerald Waterways will have access to our litany of great land-based tours.
