MTips – M is for Mary, M is for Mayflower, M is for Mimi...
April, 2015

Last December Mayflower Tours put into place a rebranding initiative and added to our new logo the words, " Life Enriching Experiences." We have received excellent feedback on this. Many were very pleased that we kept the word "Tours" with the name "Mayflower." We are proud to offer tours and plan on shouting it to the world.

Branding is very important! Travel is an intangible entity. You can't feel and touch the vacation until you physically experience it. Travel needs to flow effortlessly, yet we all know there is an incredible amount of work that goes into planning, research and development.

Mayflower Tours just celebrated its 35th anniversary. Many of our staff have been with us for over 15 years - in fact our team has a combined total of 409 years of working with Mayflower Tours. In addition, we recently have hired new people from within the industry, coming to us from such companies as United Airlines, American Express and Budget/Avis. We are also expanding our field sales force in California, Florida and Texas. We want to give our entrepreneurial company a global presence.

Another philosophy we hold dear is our commitment to "The Mayflower Tours Way." Our first priority is to provide our travelers with the ultimate travel experience. We stand by our word and strive for integrity in each experience. And we pledge ourselves to providing Quality Assurance - that is - fixing things before one travels, rather than waiting to hear what did not go well, then trying to fix it. We truly believe each traveler becomes a Mayflower Tours family member in travel.

Travel enriches ones' life. Travel is the ultimate freedom. Although technology has opened the door to individual travel planning, we have found this an advantage to us, as people are now knocking on our door to help them sort out what they want to do, and request our expertise.

Mayflower Tours strives to make this easy by creating a seamless travel experience. One of our goals is to offer experiences that travelers can't do on their own. Sightseeing is good - and 'sight-doing' - along with 'organized independence,' is a must.

Our new logo and the accompanying line "Life Enriching Experiences" is our way of showing that it is prudent to change with the times. We have always offered life enriching experiences, but had never talked about it. People have been everywhere - now they want to make their visits more of an experience.

For those of you that have traveled or partnered with Mayflower Tours, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. For those of you who have not traveled with Mayflower Tours, try us, you will like us.
