2 Santiago > Valparaiso, Chile
The World Heritage-listed
city of Valparaiso welcomes us with its long and colourful
history dating back to the conquistadors. This vibrant city is
rich in theatre, music, performance and street art – most
streets, staircases, alleyways and buildings are brightly
painted – and exquisite Victorian architecture. Meal: D

3 At sea
Relaxation beckons with so many choices on
board you will wonder how time passes so quickly. Choose one
of the daily activities including a class in Scenic Epicure, join
an entertaining discussion in the Theatre, or make time for

4 Puerto Montt
At the very end of the Pan American
highway is the Puerto Montt, which is the starting point for a
fabled land of fjords, canals, islands, snow-capped volcanoes,
green-forested hills and the enchantment of Southern Chile.
Puerto Montt is the perfect starting point to explore the
German cities of Frutillar and Puerto Varas. Meals: B, L, D

5 Castro
Visit Castro, where colourful wooden stilt
houses line the waterfront and the Chilote culture is seen
throughout the World Heritage listed churches and

6 Laguna San Rafael
San Rafael exhibits marvellous
topographic variety. Its sea fauna and channels, islands,
snowcaps and fjords offer a great place for tourism. The
Northern Ice Field, San Rafael Lagoon and San Rafael
Snowcap, are the favourite spots for national and foreign
visitors because of their amazing landscapes and ecological

7 Tortel
Caleta Tortel is a coastal village, located
between the mouth of the Baker River the largest river in Chile
and a small embayment of the Baker Channel. The surrounding
geography is rugged, formed by a number of islands, fjords,
channels and estuaries. The Chilean Patagonia is a region of

8 Angustura Inglese
The Angostura Ingles (English
Narrows) are located north of Puerto Eden, a small isolated
port located on Wellington Island, in the Magallanes Region of
Chile. The village is known for being the home of the last
Kawéshkar people. Meals: B, L, D

9 Chilean Fjords
At the foot of the massive Darwin
Cordillera mountain range, the majestic scenery and wildlife of
the inner passages of the Chilean Channels is an assault on the
senses. Watch from the Sky Terrace, the Observation Terrace or
your private verandah as the Captain and local Chilean Pilot
expertly manoeuvre Scenic Eclipse through the islands and
channel markers of the English Narrows. Meals: B, L, D

10 Punta Arenas
Not far from Patagonia, the city is
located in the extreme south of Chile with a port and sheepbreeding
history, the gateway into Antarctica will captivate you

A sensory day of
cruising and exploring in kayaks, Zodiacs and helicopters^
awaits as we traverse Agostini Fjord. Glaciers and fjords
abound with the Monte Buckland mountain range as the

13 Cape Horn & Puerto Williams
The point where the
Atlantic and Pacific Ocean meet, Cape Horn is steeped in maritime history and is the southernmost headland of the Tierra
del Fuego archipelago and the southernmost tip of Chile.
Weather permitting, our landing on Cape Horn will show the true
