Day 1  Depart the USA
Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Reykjavik, Iceland.
Day 2  Reykjavik, Iceland
Welcome to Reykjavik – the world’s northernmost capital city – where a world of wonder awaits as you step on board and raise your glass to toast the start of your luxurious cruise. Meal: D
Day 3  Dynjandi Waterfall
Sail deep into the dramatic Westfjords peninsula to witness the thundering Dynjadi Waterfall – the largest waterfall in the region. Meals: B, L, D
Day 4  Isafjördur > Adalvik
The stunning landscapes continue as you explore more of the Westfjords. Here you’ll get to visit the small Icelandic town of Isafjördur. Meals: B, L, D
Day 5  Grimsey Island
Keep your eyes open for whales and dolphins as you cruise to Grimsey Island, straddling the Arctic Circle. Meals: B, L, D
Day 6  Husavik
Nestled on the edge of Shaky Bay, the town of Husavík is one of the best locations in Iceland to see multiple species of whales. Meals: B, L, D
Day 7  Seydisfjordur
We dock right in the heart of this charming town settled by wealthy Norwegian fishermen, allowing free time for you to explore at leisure. Meals: B, L, D
Day 8  Westman Islands
This small archipelago was born from volcanic activity and is full of natural beauty. It’s home to vast species of birdlife, including nesting puffins each summer. The largest island, Heimaey, was the site of the eruption of the Eldfell volcano in 1973 that covered most of the island with volcanic ash. Meals: B, L, D
Day 9  Thorlakshofn
Named after Saint Thorlak, who was bishop at Skálholt, this small fishing village forms a natural harbor on the southern coast of Iceland. Meals: B, L, D
Day 10  Reykjavik, Iceland
Your cruise ends this morning back in Reykjavik as you say farewell to your crew. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight homeward arriving the following day. Meal: B

Rooms for the night before and after the tour are available. Cost for a room in Halifax is $219, tax included.

Passport & Visas – Each U.S. citizen must have a valid passport.  Expiry date of passports should be at least 6 months after the return date of tour. If you don’t have a passport, call our office and we’ll tell you how to apply for one. Some countries require visas for entry by U.S. citizens. We will send visa applications and instructions if a visa is required for your tour.  Holders of non-U.S. passports should contact their nearest consulate and inquire about the necessary passport or visa documentation required for entry into the countries visited. NOTE: Due to airline security measures, your passport name must match your airline ticket name and your tour reservation name or you may be denied aircraft boarding.
