Day 1  History Awaits
Your journey begins at Old Glory Distillery in Clarksville. Taste the distillery’s products, compete in a cocktail-making contest and enjoy a BBQ dinner while listening to an authentic Bluegrass band. (Dinner)
Day 2  Historic Collinsville and Civil War Ball
Begin the day at Historic Collinsville a living history pioneer settlement dating from 1830-1870. After lunch at Paul and Jackie’s Country Kitchen stop at Beachaven Winery for a tour and tasting. Then, visit the Interpretive Center at Fort Defiance to learn how the fort was surrendered without a single shot being fired. Tonight, compete in the “Great Biscuit Bakeoff” where your team will make your own biscuits. Afterward, enjoy a candle-lit dinner of southern specialties and hear stories at the Civil War Ball hosted by Mrs. Smith. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Day 3  Bush’s Beans and Hatfields & McCoys
On your way to Pigeon Forge a stop is made at a local institution, the A. J. Bush Company. Learn the history of this amazing company best known for their baked beans, grab a souvenir in their gift shop and maybe even grab a bite in the Bush’s Family Café. Later, arrive in Pigeon Forge where an evening of great food and fun Tennessee entertainment awaits at the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show featuring down-home cooking and toe-tappin’ music. (Breakfast and dinner)
Day 4  Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Ober Gatlinburg
Spend the morning immersed in the breathtaking beauty of Great Smoky Mountains National Park with a local guide. Following your tour, travel the short distance to Gatlinburg to experience the history, beauty and nostalgia of the small town nestled in the Smoky Mountains. There are many galleries, unique craft shops and restaurants throughout the town. Then, board the Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tram for a thrilling ride to one of the best observation points in the Smokies. Tonight, enjoy dinner on your own on the “Island,” Pigeon Forge’s one-stop for shopping and dining. (Breakfast)
Day 5  Falcon Rest Mansion and The Battle of Franklin
Leave Pigeon Forge behind today and travel to the small town of McMinnville. Here, you are greeted by Gen. John Hunt Morgan and are invited to his Honeymoon Ball in beautiful Falcon Rest Mansion, aptly called “Tennessee’s Biltmore.” After Falcon Rest’s delicious lunch and lively entertainment arrive in the town of Franklin, the scene of the five bloodiest hours of the American Civil War. Visit Carnton Plantation and learn how this home was used as a field hospital for wounded Confederate soldiers while the battle raged around it. A stop at Carter House shows you a modest brick home, riddled with bullet holes. (Breakfast and lunch)
Day 6  Shiloh National Military Park and Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center
Travelling across Tennessee today you come to Shiloh National Military Park. It was here the Battle of Shiloh was fought over 2 days in 1862 and saw Union General Ulysses S. Grant and Confederate General P.G.T. Beauregard wage what was the costliest battle of the time with well over 23,000 casualties incurred on both sides. Continue to the Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center where you view a multi-media presentation of The Battle of Shiloh and see a video of The Battle of Corinth which explains the key role Corinth played in the American Civil War. (Breakfast and box lunch)
Day 7   Elvis’ Graceland Estate and Mississippi River Cruise
Begin the day with a visit to Elvis Presley’s 14-acre estate, Graceland. Tour the home and see the living rooms, music room and “jungle” den along with Elvis’ gold records, awards and costumes. In Memphis spend time on Beale Street before climbing aboard the Memphis Queen riverboat for a narrated cruise along the Mighty Mississippi. You’ll learn about the tales of river life spun by Mark Twain and the S.S. Sultana steamboat, one of the worst American maritime disasters to date. Tonight, your farewell dinner is at Central BBQ where the motto is “slow smoked Memphis.” (Breakfast and dinner)

Arrive home today with fond memories of your journey. (Breakfast)­
