 Itinerary
Day 1  Depart for Missouri
Your journey on the trail of the Pioneer Woman begins in Missouri where the Drury Inn’s Manager’s Kickback Reception with drinks awaits. Meal: Drury Dinner
Day 2  Pioneer Woman Mercantile & Osage Casino Resort
Arrive in Oklahoma today and come to the small town of Pawhuska. This is Pioneer Woman territory where Ree Drummond, noted author and Food Network host, has built her empire. You will enjoy an included lunch catered by The Pioneer Woman Mercantile in one of Ree Drummond’s buildings.

Then, visit the Pioneer Woman Mercantile which began life as the Osage Mercantile in 1910 and was the local center for shopping and trading. Today the Mercantile houses a bakery and deli along with a treasure trove of gifts, curios and merchandise. Downtown Pawhuska houses buildings that are on the National Register of Historic Places. Later, continue to the Osage Casino Resort in Tulsa. Meals: B, L
Day 3  Pioneer Woman Museum, Silvertop Vineyards & Madame Opal
Take the short drive today to Ponca City, home to the Pioneer Woman Museum which is dedicated to the legacy of woman from all races, creeds and nationalities who have contributed to the development of Oklahoma. At Silvertop Farm and Vineyards, stop for an included lunch and as well as a tour and tasting of their hand-crafted wines. Also see their sheep and goat herding demonstrations. Then, learn the history of the area with a guided tour of Ponca City conducted by local Madame Opal. Meals: B, L, D
Day 4  Woolaroc Wildlife Preserve & Little House on the Prairie
Begin the day at the Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve, a 3,700 acre preserve with more than 30 varieties of native and exotic animals and birds. See American Bison, elk and longhorn cattle as well as displays of Western art, Native American cultural art and an impressive collection of Colt firearms. Enjoy an included lunch on the coach while you cross into Kansas. Here, stop at the Little House on the Prairie Museum. This non-profit historical site and museum is dedicated to the homestead of Laura Ingalls Wilder, author of the Little House on the Prairie books. Meals: B, Box L
Day 5  The Pony Express, Amelia Earhart & the National Frontier Trails Museum
Begin the day at the Pony Express Museum. Learn the history of these courageous riders – many of them mere boys who craved adventure and were driven by their unique spirit. Through the dust storms and heat of the expansive Plains and the freezing walls of ice and snow in the Rocky Mountains, they rode with their mission to deliver the mail as fast as their horse could carry it.

In Atchison, Kansas visit the birthplace of famed aviator Amelia Earhart. A portrait of Amelia’s grandmother hangs in the front parlor, a large curio stands in the library and the dining room features original stain glass windows. The home also features the original kitchen and its walls are covered with maps, portraits and aviation.

Then visit the National Frontier Trails Museum. This history museum and interpretive center is dedicated to telling the rich history of America’s pioneering trails including the Oregon, Santa Fe and California Trails. Located in Independence, Missouri, this is a key starting point for hundreds of thousands of pioneers who embarked on a new life in the American West. Meals: B, D

Arrive home today from your travels on the Trail of the Pioneer Woman. Meal: B
