Learn about Native American history, the pioneers and gold miners on this 120-mile excursion. Enjoy your deli-style box lunch served under the fruit trees at Cache Creek Ranch. Travel through three states and see the confluence of the Snake and Salmon Rivers. Meals: B, L Depart for Rider Ranch, a 1300-acre real working ranch. Enjoy a horse drawn wagon ride through their meadow where cattle, horses, elk, deer and other wild animals roam before a hearty “cowboy” lunch, lovingly prepared by the ranch hands. Finish up with a dessert cooked in dutch ovens and served with ice cream. Then, check into the fabulous Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel with plenty of time to freshen up before the evening dinner cruise on Lake Coeur d’Alene. Go underground and see how hard-rock mining was done from retired minor guides. Take a quick peek inside a real Bordello for a tasteful look at this glimpse of the past.
