Day 1  Depart the USA
Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Day 2  Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Upon arrival in Amsterdam, you will be met and transferred to your Scenic Space-Ship, home for the next seven nights. The afternoon is at leisure where you can begin to explore the city on your own. This evening, during the welcome reception onboard, raise your glass to commemorate the start of the cruise. Meal: D
Day 3  Dordrecht
Freechoice: Join a knowledgeable local for a guided tour of Rotterdam. A dynamic, international city with a bold and passionately beating heart, Rotterdam is known as the architectural capital of the Netherlands. OR, choose to explore beautiful Delft before dropping into the pottery factory and museum to discover more about the world-famous Delft Blue Pottery. OR, discover picturesque Kinderdijk, famous for its historic windmills. OR, visit Gouda, a town synonymous with cheese, and visit its local centuries-old cheese market. Meals: B, L, D
Day 4  Veere
Freechoice: Visit the Delta works, including the famous Storm Surge Barrier, an incredible feat of modern engineering, purpose-built to protect the flooding Delta Plain. OR, choose to explore the charming village of Veere, located on a series of regional dykes, with a history that extends all the way back to the 15th century. OR, for something more active, embark on an enjoyable guided cycling tour of Veere and its surroundings. Your final option is to visit an oyster farm for a tour and tasting. Meals: B, L, D
Day 5  Antwerp, Belgium
Freechoice: Let a local expert guide you through Ghent, one of Belgium’s most historic cities with a myriad of medieval buildings and charming canals. OR explore Antwerp, renowned as the diamond capital of the world and located on the banks of the Scheldt River. OR, learn about the life of the famous Flemish painter, Peter Paul Rubens during a guided tour in Antwerp. Visit his former residence and the cathedral that now houses some of his most important works. Meals: B, L, D
Day 6  Arnhem, the Netherlands
Freechoice: Explore the Arnhem Airborne Museum and learn about the Battle of Arnhem that took place in September 1944. Alternatively, visit the Netherlands Open Air Museum and discover historic houses, farms, and windmills. OR, if you’re feeling more active, join a cycling tour and pedal through the scenic surrounds. Day 7  Hoorn
Freechoice: Travel from Hoorn to the sleepy fishing village of Volendam, with its unusual raised homes and its quaint wooden church. Then continue to Edam, famous for its round cheese. You’ll simply love this village and its beautiful squares, old-style bridges and cheese warehouses. OR, discover Hoorn with a local guide and immerse yourself in the local life with tastings of fine regional cheese and seafood. OR, for a different perspective you can choose to explore Hoorn by bike, a great village for cycling. Alternatively, discover the long-held family secrets to making traditional apple pie with a cooking class hosted by a local, while learning about life in this region. Day 8  Amsterdam
Visit Keukenhof Gardens, complete with over seven million flowering bulbs, and discover why it is called ‘The Garden of Europe’. Keukenhof has delighted visitors for more than 70 years and you are sure to be impressed. Meals: B, L, D
Day 9  Amsterdam / USA
Depart Amsterdam after breakfast for your home-bound flight, leaving with memories of your life enriching experiences in the Netherlands and Belgium. Meal: B

Passports & Visas: Each U.S. citizen must have a valid passport. Expiry date of passports should be at least 6 months after the return date of tour. If you don’t have a passport, call our office and we’ll tell you how to apply for one. Some countries require visas for entry by U.S. citizens. We will send visa applications and instructions if a visa is required for your tour. Holders of non-U.S. passports should contact their nearest consulate and inquire about the necessary passport or visa documentation required for entry into the countries visited.

NOTE: Due to airline security measures, your passport name must match your airline ticket name and your tour reservation name or you may be denied aircraft boarding.
