 Itinerary
Day 1  Depart the USA
Depart the USA on your overnight flight to London, England.
Day 2  London
Welcome to England. Upon arrival in London you will be met by a representative of Mayflower Cruises & Tours and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to become acquainted with your surroundings and explore “merry ole England.”
Day 3  London
Take in the sights of unforgettable London on a guided tour. You’ll see highlights like Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Kensington Gardens, the former private gardens of Kensington Palace, followed by a visit to historic Westminster Abbey. Tonight, enjoy a delicious dinner of hearty English fare with your fellow travelers. Meals: B, D
Day 4  London
The day is yours to explore magnificent London at your leisure. Perhaps you will journey to Tower Bridge, witness the changing of the guard, soak in the atmosphere of Piccadilly Circus or simply stroll through the London neighborhoods and relax in a cozy pub. Your tour director is on hand to help you plan your day. Meal: B
Day 5  London to Amsterdam
Begin your journey to the Netherlands. Board the high-speed Eurostar train from London to Amsterdam and embark your Scenic Space- Ship, home for the next seven nights. Enjoy time to explore your new accommodations and this evening, raise your glass to commemorate the occasion during the welcome reception. Meals: B, D
Day 6  Rotterdam
Join a knowledgeable local for a guided tour of Rotterdam. A dynamic, international city with a bold and passionately beating heart, Rotterdam is known as the architectural capital of the Netherlands. See such sights as the Erasmus Bridge and the Beeldenroute Westersingel, displaying various works of art by renowned local artists. Or, you could choose to explore beautiful Delft before dropping into a pottery factory and museum to discover more about the world-famous Delft Blue Pottery. Alternatively, discover picturesque Kinderdijk, famous for its historic windmills. You can also opt to explore Gouda, a town synonymous with cheese. Visit its local cheese market, which dates back centuries! Meals: B, L, D
Day 7  Veere
Visit the Delta works, including the famous Storm Surge Barrier, an incredible feat of modern engineering, purposely built to protect the flooding Delta Plain. Alternatively, you can choose to explore the charming village of Veere, located on a series of regional dykes, with a history that extends all the way back to the 15th century. Or, for something more active, embark on an enjoyable guided cycling tour of Veere and its surroundings. Discover the town square with its impressive Town Hall, cycle past the town’s beautiful harbor, and see the picturesque windmill located on the outskirts. As another option, choose to visit an oyster farm for a tour and tasting. Meals: B, L, D
Day 8  Antwerp
Let a local expert guide you through Ghent, one of Belgium’s most historic cities with its many medieval buildings and charming canals or walk the cobbled streets of Bruges on a guided tour of this fairytale city. Alternatively, explore Antwerp, Belgium’s second city, renowned as the diamond capital of the world and located on the banks of the Scheldt River. Or, choose to learn about the life of famous Flemish painter Peter Paul Rubens during a guided tour in Antwerp. Visit his former residence and the cathedral that is now home to some of his most important work. Meals: B, L, D
Day 9  Arnhem
Explore the Arnhem Airborne Museum and learn about the Battle of Arnhem that took place in September 1944. Alternatively, visit the Netherlands Open Air Museum and discover historic houses, farms and windmills. Or, if you’re feeling more active, join a cycling tour and pedal through the pretty surroundings. Meals: B, L, D
Day 10  Hoorn
Travel from Hoorn to the sleepy fishing village of Volendam, with its unusual raised homes and its quaint wooden church. Then continue to Edam, famous for its round cheese. You’ll simply love this village and its beautiful squares, old-style bridges and cheese warehouses. Or, discover Hoorn with a local guide and immerse yourself in the local life with tastings of fine cheese and delicious seafood. Alternatively, for a different perspective you can choose to explore Hoorn by bike, a great village for cycling. A special experience awaits when you meet the hospitable locals of this quiet pocket of northeastern Holland. Enjoy friendly conversation and a sumptuous local dinner with entertainment to celebrate your time in this charming region. Meals: B, L, D
Day 11  Amsterdam
Visit Keukenhof Gardens, complete with over seven million flowering bulbs, and discover why it is called ‘The Garden of Europe’. Keukenhof has delighted visitors for more than 70 years and you are sure to be impressed. Meals: B, L, D
Day 12  Amsterdam / USA
Depart Amsterdam after breakfast for your homebound flight, leaving with memories of your life enriching experiences in London, the Netherlands and Belgium. Meal: B

Call for schedules from your city to London, England, returning from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Each U.S. citizen must have a valid passport. Expiry date of passports should be at least 6 months after the return date of tour. If you don’t have a passport, call our office and we’ll tell you how to apply for one. Some countries require visas for entry by U.S. citizens. We will send visa applications and instructions if a visa is required for your tour. Holders of non-U.S. passports should contact their nearest consulate and inquire about the necessary passport or visa documentation required for entry into the countries visited. NOTE: Due to airline security measures, your passport name must match your airline ticket name and your tour reservation name or you may be denied aircraft boarding.
