Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Massachusetts

Welcome to historic “Beantown”, Boston, one of the oldest municipalities on the country filled with colonial history. Meet your Tour Manager at 6:00 p.m. for a welcome dinner. Meal: D

Day 2: Boston’s Freedom Trail, Lexington and Concord

Begin the day by learning the history of this colonial city. A local guide shows you Boston’s Freedom Trail including Boston Common, America’s oldest public park; Park Street Church, founded in 1809 and the Old Corner Bookstore, home to 19th-century publishers Ticknor and Fields. Lunch today is at Cheers Beacon Hill, the inspiration of the TV show Cheers. This afternoon a costumed guide conducts a tour of historic Lexington and Concord including the Lexington Battle Green as well as the Minuteman National Historic Park and the Old North Bridge. Day 3: Plimoth Patuxet and Whale Watching Cruise 


Travel south to the town of Plymouth for a visit to Plimoth Patuxet. This living history museum interprets the 17th-century Plymouth Colony established by Pilgrims. Costumed inhabitants will show you colony life during the period through cooking, planting and blacksmithing. In the town of Plymouth stop to see historic Plymouth Rock as well as the Mayflower II as full replica of the original vessel. In the afternoon climb aboard your seagoing vessel for an exciting whale watching excursion. Head out to Cape Bay and Stellwagen Bank, a marine sanctuary and primary feeding grounds for humpback, finback and the endangered right whales. Be sure to dress warm to enjoy this exciting adventure on the water. Meals: B, D

Day 4: Tour of Historic Fenway Park, JFK Presidential Museum and USS Constitution Museum

Since 1912 baseball fans have flocked to Fenway Park to watch the home team play at “America’s Most Beloved Ballpark.” Your experienced tour guide takes you to see the magnificent view from atop the “Green Monster” as well as guiding you through the hallowed halls and legendary moments of this historic field. Located on the waterfront overlooking the city that launched him to greatness sits the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. It features multimedia exhibits and period settings from the White House offering an exciting “you are there” experience. Later, visit the 
USS Constitution Museum where you will learn about the legacy of “Old Ironsides” the world’s oldest commissioned naval vessel still afloat. Meal: B

Day 5: Salem Witch Museum and The House of 7 Gables

Travel this morning to the historic town of Salem. Here, visit the Salem Witch Museum and take an immersive look onto the events of 1692, the Salem Witch Trials. Learn about the European witch trial which led to the witch-hunts and trails in Salem. Then visit The House of The Seven Gables, which gained notoriety through American author Nathaniel Hawthorne’s 1851 novel. Later, your Tour Manager hosts a farewell dinner featuring local favorites. Day 6: Travel Home

This morning there is a group transfer to Boston’s Logan International Airport for flights out after 12:00 p.m. Meal: B
