As baseball season is in the waning days of the playoffs, it's already time to begin planning for next year's Cubs Spring Training. In just over 4 months, the Cubs tentative 34-game Spring Training schedule begins Friday, February 23 at Sloan Park against the Chicago White Sox and concludes with two games against the St. Louis Cardinals at Sloan Park, Monday, March 25 and Tuesday, March 26. The schedule includes 18 games at Sloan Park and 16 Cactus League road games.

With the schedule coming only shortly after the Holiday Season, it is time for Cubs Fans to prepare and make plans for another year of America's Greatest Pastime. One option for catching the camp is to visit with a group tour to make the event more memorable and well planned. The tour starts with a trip into Phoenix where dinner is served with fellow Cubs fans and you begin your stay at the Embassy Suites of Tempe, Arizona. You'll need to rest well since the trip is going to be exciting and experience filled. T

he second and first full day of the trip starts with a guided tour of Phoenix where you'll be able to view and get to know this gem of the desert southwest. Afterward, you will see your first Spring Training game featuring the Chicago Cubs.

On the third day of your tour, you'll start the day in Scottsdale Az touring the Old Town where shops and local diners will await you. Visitor favorite diners include FnB Restaurant and Citizens Public House. Afterward, it is back to the ballpark to watch another Cubs Spring Training game. In the evening, everyone will go to Rustler’s Rooste Steakhouse where a total cowboy western experience awaits. A delicious dinner, live entertainment and unlimited drinks are the order of the night.

The following day, everyone will journey together to Tucson. Beginning with a trip through the Sonoran Desert you travel to the Saguaro National Park, home of the famed Saguaro Cactus. Afterward, the journey will continue to the Pima Air and Space Museum where nearly 300 historical aircrafts from the Wright Flyer to a 787 Dreamliner are on display. You also pay a visit to Mission San Xavier del Bac, the 17th-century Spanish mission known as “The White Dove of the Desert,” with its imposing dome, lofty towers and graceful spires. Then, return to Phoenix to enjoy dinner of your choosing.

On Day five it's off to the Superstition Mountains to ride the Dolly Steamboat on Canyon Lake. View the majestic desert bighorn sheep, bald eagles and a host of other wildlife, waterfowl, and birds. Experience the unique ambiance that is created by the sounds of plying through the waters of Canyon Lake. Listen as your captain recounts the legends and lore of the mysterious Superstition Mountains. After this truly remarkable experience, it is on to another; one more Cubs Spring Training Game.

After a night of rest, you'll enjoy breakfast with the tour before heading home via the airport. For any genuine Cubs fan, this is the trip of a lifetime.
